Thelonious Monk Jr. and the ladies smoothing as usual. Funky mid tempo dancer with First Lady Of Love on the flip. Clean EX copy, label has 'A' penned on B-side.

Brilliant double sider with Candidate For Love and notably Can't Keep My Hands To Myself fine modern soul treats.

Highlight track from their Show Time album. Nice mid tempo funk groove. Flip with Steal Your Heart not a bad pick either.

Great pick by Westcoast sister soul trio signed to Motown sublabel Gordy. Always a nice disco touch to their recordings. US original in strong VG+ shape.

Hidden as flipside to their big hitter Light Up The Night this jazzy instrumental rates high up my favorite list by the funk duo. Crisp EX condition cover and wax.

Classic electro anthem and a must to DJs messing with forty fives. Record is clean, cover with edge wear and some dirt spots on front.

Just how nice is this track by David Joseph. Funky bassline, sublime synth and them smooth vocals. Soft inaudible scuffs on wax, cover is badly creased at opening.

So much quality boogie and modern soul to come out of the UK during the late seventies and eighties. Nothing rare but a great pick nonetheless.

Flipside winner yet again with the fantastic Lucky Lucky Me off her must-have Walk With Me album. Amazing that this sound would come out of Jack White's studios, it sounds a lot more Philadelphia than Cologne.
