Credited to Manfred Krug which seems a little unfair when looking at what line up the Modern Jazz Big Band 65 comprise. Ernst Ludwig Petrowsky, Klaus Lenz, Horst Krüger and several other high profile artist. Half the tracks on here are vocal jazz, the other half instrumentals. Their version of Horace Silver's The Preacher is brilliant and I have really come to enjoy You Come A Long Way From St Louis. Disc has faintest surface lines but overall playback is EX, cover with two bent corners.
