One for the collectors looking for funk in unsual places. Jazzman Sonny Stitt is joined by a spectacular line up in Don Patterson, Idris Muhammad and Melvin Sparks to name but a few and the result is seriously funky. Goin To D.C. is probably the best track but you will not need to do much more with this album than flip it over when side one has passed. Clean wax, slight damange to 2-3 cm of upper left hand corner and small remains from stick on front.
